Ministries
Altar Guild
This ministry is made up of dedicated servants who manage the visual aspects of the Altar for our Worship Service. They make sure that the seasonal paraments are appropriate for worship. This group is also responsible for sending flowers to our sick and bereaved.
CHRISTIAN YOUTH
OF THE CHURCH
(CYOC) (Ages 3-18)
Our ministry is to mentor and nurture the children and youth; to develop their knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Chris, by teaching the Word of God through fellowship, service, and activities related to their spiritual growth.
CHRISTIAN MEN OF THE CHURCH
(CMOC)
This group's purpose is to develop strong relationships and accountability among the men of the church. To bring men to maturity in Christ by helping them to understand God’s purpose to fulfill their God-given roles as m
CHRISTIAN WOMEN
OF THE CHURCH
(CWOC)
This ministry goal is to develop strong relationships and connect with other women; build solid Christian friendships and grow spirituality. Each year a retreat is held to strengthen their connection with God and each other.
CHOIRS
The purpose of our choirs is to uplift the congregation and share the gospel of Jesus Christ through the singing of hymns, contemporary gospels, anthems, and spiritual songs and responses. We have several choirs: Women’s Choir, Men’s Chorus, FCMEC Choir, and the Children and Youth Choir and Praise Team.
GREETERS
When a visitor or member enters the doors of FCME, a greeter is waiting to welcome you with a smile, handshake or hug and present you with a bulletin (or any other pertinent information). We want your first encounter to be a joyous one. You will immediately know that you have entered the “House of the Lord.”
MANNA FROM HEAVEN
This group of men and women ministers to the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless, with a home cooked meal and by sharing the Word of God every 3rd Saturday of each month. Clothing and toiletries are also provided to those in need throughout the community.

MEMBERSHIP
This committee’s goal is to stay connected with all members and to be sure their spiritual and physical needs are being met through calls, cards, and visitation.
MISSIONARY SOCIETY
The purpose of this ministry is to implement the mission of the Women’s Missionary Society to make their mission known at home and abroad and encourage the study of the Bible and assist in spreading the Gospel.
PRAISE DANCE MINISTRY
Their goal is to glorify the Lord by using the artistic gifts of dance as an instrument of praise; to inspire and touch the hearts of our worshipers. This ministry is open to those six (6) years old and above.
PROGRESSIVE WOMEN’S GUILD
Prepare and deliver food upon request to any bereaved member of First Christian Methodist Evangelistic Church on the day of the funeral.
USHERS
The duties of the Ushers shall be to admit and seat people to the house of worship. Our goal is to ensure that each member and guest receives a comfortable worship experience in the house of the Lord.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
(CLASSES FOR ALL AGES)
Spiritual education and transformation take place each Sunday Morning @ 8:30 am.
BIBLE STUDY
Tuesday Morning from 10:30 am. – Noon
